We have a unique combination of dual interests: the freedom and joy of the nudist/naturist lifestyle, and high-quality Home Theater/HDTV/High Definition technology. We saw that while many other sites offer information on the nudist lifestyle, along with nudist lifestyle pictures and videos, often the quality of the videos or pictures was poor - the resolution and video quality was sub-par, or they looked out-of-date, as if they were shot many years ago.

We felt that a site that offered extremely high-quality HD Nudist and Naturist documentary films, presented a clean, simple, and user-friendly shopping cart format, would meet an unserved need in the market. We also felt strongly that the site should depict the true nudist lifestyle - not pornography, and not contain sexually explicit images or videos. To that end, there are no images or videos of close-ups or sexual contact, nor is there any lewd, lascivious, or sexually explicit content on our site (or any of the Candid-HD.com affiliate sites).

In addition, we felt that our high-quality HD Videos should be offered in a variety of formats, to suit the individual customer's needs. At the current time, Candid-HD.com is the only Nudist/Naturist site to offer Naturist HD Videos in streaming HD digital format, and on DVD and Blu-Ray disc.

All our HD Nudist/Naturist documentary films are available not only as digital streaming video, but also on Blu-Ray disc for those who would like to view the videos with the ultimate HD image quality. While the video quality of our 1920x1080p streaming is very good, the ultimate video quality can only be achieved by viewing the videos in Blu-Ray (or HD-DVD) format on a consumer Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player, connected to a display device (Projector, DLP TV, LCD, or Plasma) that can display full 1920x1080 resolution.
